That doesn't bother me as long as they don't mess with the prior toons and keep those toons readily available for all to watch.

Yeah, kids played with guns when I was young but things change and they don't really any more so I understand dropping it for new cartoons.

Uh, kids still play with guns, probably even more than we did as kids when you add in digital versions from games like Call of Duty, Fortnite, etc. The toy guns tend to be replicas of Star Wars blasters, Nerf guns that look futuristic or other things similar, instead of replicas of real guns. I know because I have kids. I could probably go into their rooms and take a picture of 10 or more toy guns.

I guess I should have been more specific but that's what I was referring to. Any toy guns that I see today are bright colors and clearly not real weapons which is unlike the toy guns I played with.

This is a great example of why streaming shouldn't be trusted as a primary or only source of stuff. It's too easy to disappear a show or a movie if it's only available that way.

Of course, we're on a home theatre dedicated forum, so I'm likely preaching to the choir about the virtues of owning films and TV.

Censorship isn't the answer, but it can be an opportunity for AT&T to educate people about the racial history of this country by having a panel discussion or something similar when they return this movie for viewing.

Thank you, but those that try to demonize streaming will continue to do so by fostering this false narrative about streaming by conflating subscription streaming like HBO Max & Netflix to streaming services like iTunes and Vudu.

I personally couldn't care less about Gone WIth The Wind but is anyone that can't comprehend the horrible attitudes of the era (when the movie is set and when the movie was made) even going to watch it? Pulling it seems like a useless gesture.

Justice League, Batman v. Superman, Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad, Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, and Batman & Robin are all leaving July 1.

Seems mighty quick to be pulling such films from a new service.

As was pointed out with the removal of films on June 1, this most likely is when HBO's license for these films expire. Even though they are Warner Bros films, HBO still has to license them as if they were a different company. Revenue and expense related to transaction are netted out in consolidated financial statement for those who are accountants.
