I love HBO DVD sets! The only thing that could be considered bad about them is the release dates. They don't release them nearly fast enough!

I know Sex and the City season 3 is a week away but man couldn't they put out Six Feet Under sooner or a couple of seasons of OZ before Christmas time?

I applaud Paramount for the Star Trek TNG series and how they are handling the release of that series! I hope DS9 is released the same way.

Come on HBO accelerate the schedule!

I just hope HBO announces Curb Your Enthusiasm dvds later this year...those would tide me over till the Seinfield dvds come out (if they ever do in a couple years)

Oh No!!!!!!

Say it isn't so!!!!

That really tells the whole story!!!!
Yawn. Warner bashing is so 2001.

Hey, Friends gets released 3 times a year. South Park finally gets season sets, and I cannot complain about the Sopranos sets one bit. I would love Six Feet Under, but I can be patient. I still have to justify a $12 subscription fee don't I?

I'm sure 6FU will be out soon. It took almost until Sopranos premiered it's 3rd season to get season 1 on DVD, and 6FU is just finishing up it's 2nd season. Oz took a while because it is owned by Rysher Ent. and HBO had to wait until they got the green light. BTW: Oz is now filming it's 6th and last season of the series, so you only have to buy 6 boxes for it.

Anybody know when the second season of Oz is coming out?

Speaking of which, I think the first season boxset is an excellent example of great packaging. It's not just a standard case which makes it seem special, but it doesn't seem as flimsy as some other box sets (like TNG).
