I am thinking about getting the convergence set by a professional in the GTA, Toronto. I have a Toshiba 57h83. I have set everything manually which I can and run video essentials. I have been told of an ISF convergence.

Can anyone tell me more about it, and what questions to ask the person I will be hiring so I don't sound completely ignorant on the topic when trying to find someone to do it?

Also if anyone knows someone they have used in Toronto any recommendations would be great.

    Thanks

    Greetings

It's called an ISF calibration ... not convergence. Go to the Keohihdtv site to read up about it and the things that are typically included.

Look at it like a TV tune up ... when you can only do something less than an oil change on your TV.

The trick in finding the right person is not in the piece of ISF paper that they wave around as any person can literally buy that paper (and take an easy test). You need to ask questions and get references.
