    Last night I saw the new commercial for Super Mario Sunshine. What the heck is that? That is one goofy commercial...

    Nintendo keeps making goofy commercials for their Mario games. Oh well, I'm still buying it.

    Yeah, I saw it. Sounded and looked like something from Mr Rogers Neighborhood. [​IMG] But, in retrospect, I guess that IS the age group they're targeting so, I guess it's smart.

    well everyone does know that clean is better than dirty... lol. I think I walked around singing that song for at least a week....

    I think they mixed up the Japanese and US tapes personally [​IMG]
    That commercial would fly in Japan, not here

    It's as bad as that Xbox ad for DOA3 (with the horny nerds), albeit in an entirely different kind of bad.

    The commercial doesn't need to fly in America, it just needs to tell people that there is a new Mario game out. If they had a commercial that was just the words "Super Mario Sunshine is the new Mario game for the Nintendo GameCube" for 30 seconds then it would accomplish the same thing.

    I always thought the SMB 3 commercial with all the people making Mario's head was a great commercial
