I had my Sony serviced yesterday because of the brightness issue and the guy told me that it was because my tv is oriented east to west and Sony recommends the tv orientation north and south. He also stated that the crt tubes are perfect and there is no brightness issue. But we can see a definate issue of the picture getting brighter from left to right on the screen. Also the guy told me that I should buy a new dvd player because it's probably that and not the tv. But, I told him the brightness issue exists on my directivo, dvd, and regular antenna. What can I do to get him to fix this or to get my tv replaced. Because he obviously doesn't believe there is a problem.
