Ok I have my SVS dual 39+/s1000 combo and I calibrated everything to 75 dB's except for the subs...they are at 80. I also ran some test tones that I have burned onto a CD so I can see my "room curve" and if I would benefit from and EQ. I have no idea what I am doing so please be gentile on me :)
Ok I don't know if I went over board but I went from 10hz to 100 Hz in 2 Hz increments. I didn't use any of the correction values because I didn't used the exact numbers from the SVS sight and I don't know how to figure them out.
So here are the actual #'s I got in the listen position with my RS meter pointing up about 45 degrees above the center channel

I saw someone with these last 2...I don't know why, but I did it any way. So what's next...can someone help me do the correction values and tell me what program I can use to get a graph.
I can let you know any other info you might need and I can get pics to. Or I can do it over with less numbers :)
Thanks every one
Mark

I am no expert, I'm still playing around so I can't help you with the techie stuff but I can steer you to this: Link Removed this is a BFD site and is a really good site. Down a little bit on the 1st page is the "excel" link for the graphing tool.
Hope that helps a little,
Matt

Yeah I think I might cut down on some of the numbers and just use the ones listed on that guys chart.

Thanks

Mark

Do I need to cut down on the numbers or can I use them????

Hi Mark,

Go ahead and apply the correction factors you and I talked about in email. Then try to tame the most severe peaks to start. See how far these 2 steps get us...
