Hi there,
I'm thinking of using this type of wiring for rear surrounds instead of in wall wiring. It's around 90-100 dollars for a 100ft. roll, but it has adhesive on the back and you can paint over it on the wall, cover up, etc.

Thanks,

John

I used this for speakers I wanted to have in my living room without cluttering up the room with a stereo system, (the system was upstairs). I only listen to the sat receiver and cds at low volume on that system so I can't really compare the wire to other speaker wire. If you want to use it for surrounds, though, I wouldn't thing it would be a big deal.

I am now using it for my surrounds and happy with it. However, I will say they are hid better when painted a color other than white. When I used them on a white wall, they are more visible; in fact unacceptable to wife.
