Has anyone used a IPAQ as a remote?

    Do you have any comments on this? if i was going to spend alot on a remote i would prefer to ahve something with more uses like an IPAQ, but then does it work well for either function? ive seen some PDA's that suck, and some remotes that suck.

    just looking for any comments you guys ahve.

    You can find tons of reading on this subject at remotecentral.com in their PDA remotes section. My understanding is that the H3950 (with some add-ons) is about as good as it gets for a PDA. I never used one however. What software you get will be a big factor. Nevo is pretty bad from the comments I've read.

    I used a Palm Pilot when I used to work retail had all the equipment in the store programmed into the software so I never had to look for a remote, was pretty nice and had a decent range to about 15 feet or so.
