If anyone has, how did you make them? What did you use? I have read about using some sort of fiberglass board used in insulation, but have only seen the styrofoam panels at Home Depot.

Go to www.audioasylum.com, find teh FAQ, find the link to Jon Risch's site, and you'll find plenty of stuff on DIY room treatments. Read that, and then go back to Audio Asylum and surf the archives of the DIY forum with the keywords that you want information on.

If you need big time absorption then make the larger DIY fiberglass insulation filled panels. The compressed glass tile absorb no LFE they're too thin. They are handy for first reflection control where the larger panels can't be used.

They're also cheap, so it's no big deal to get a few and find out if they are beneficial.

I think I might try some of those compressed fiberglass tiles first. If that is not enough then I might go with the bigger DIY panels.

    Thanks,
