Has anyone tried the Cineplayer for HT? (1 Viewer)

I made friends with the IT guy at my work and he told me about having an entirely PC based media center. The best thing I could find on a net search was for the Cineplayer, which was the only one I could find that had 5.1 audio. I am thinking of incorporating this into my system but would like to know if anyone here has tried it and what kind of quality you get out of it. The ad line on the website says DVD quality pic and sound, but that is the ad line.

Do you mean to tell me that no one has tried this, and I might get to be a guinea pig?
