The St. Paul Pioneer Press had an article today about 3M moving into the RPTV field. Apparently they have some 'wonder-screen' that can improve the picture quality, brightness and viewing angle of RPTV's. Has anyone had first-hand experience with one of these screens?

Very interesting. The only thing I did not care for is the "making the TVs brighter" comment. My Mits 46" RP even calibrated with AVIA is bright, much brighter than my old Sony 35" DV. The other aspects though, "sharper, less weighty and thinner. And they'll also be viewable even in brightly lit rooms and look good from many angles, not just a sweet front-and-center viewing spot", I like.
    Peace Out~ [IMG]
