This supposedly great bbc adaption came out a few months ago on dvd in pal format. Just wondering what everyone's thoughts were. I'm thinking of buying a malata dvd player just so I can watch this film plus maybe the Michael Caine Jack the Ripper. Damn it where are the ntsc versions!

I've been trying to FIND it. The 1978 Louis Jordan DRACULA and a 1976 DORIAN GRAY were due out also. I think these are only available through selct channels, and I can't seem to track them down. Anyone have any luck?

Jon,

Thanks for the info regarding Blackhawk. I have tried for months to get these from the BBC site without success. They seem rather disorganized.

My wife has a thing for Dracula, and the Loui Jordan version is her favorite. Of course, we haven't seen it in years. She's gonna die when I tell her its on DVD, but only in pal format.
