S4 Fronts, S4C center, S3 surrounds. Retails for around $3000.... looks awesome, small enough to satisfy the WAF (wife acceptance factor)... but how does it sound?
I'm not looking for audiophile stuff here, this is a TV room that'll double as a DVD room for awhile. Are these up to par?
Style is as important as sound quality for this setup.

I can already tell that the sub is complete garbage. Could the n0rh's pass the WAF if paired with an SVS?

About the nOrh's - neither of us like the style of them... but something cool looking like that is what we're after.

I've auditioned the Piega S2 and they sounded pretty good. My only complaint would be that bass was a bit thin -- but still pretty good for something with just one 6" woofer. Also, I was planning to use it for a stereo-only system. If you use it with a decent subwoofer then it should be okay.

www.av-reality.com is the web site. There are several models and at different price points, but all use the same basic shape/look. Prices range from $999 to $1500 for the passive speakers. Click on their netstore link for prices. There are a few people that have posted reviews at www.harmonicdiscord.com - there is an AV-reality forum there. The owner (who is Danish) frequents there and will respond to questions.

He does. He is offering it as a "kit", but I am sure if you contacted Peter about it he would probably be happy to assemble it and send it as a finished speaker. I am sure he would charge some labor, but I can't imagine it would be that much more $$.
