My cousin is a candy broker and maybe attending next years Showest convention in Las Vegas. He has invited me to go with him. Just wondering what its like? I went to the site and I saw that the only studio that had a booth in the convention hall was Paramount. Where are the other studios...Are they open to general attendees of the show or do you have to be personally invited by the studios? This goes to the same with screenings they do and actor appearances?

Thanks!

I went to ShowEast back in 1995, when I was doing movie reviews for the Navy! (true story!) I recall the vendor floor having a ton of stuff on it. I met Richard Dreyfuss, Martin Scorcese, Ron Howard, and Rob Reiner. I got to see the unfinished version of Casino, along with Mr. Holland's Opus, The American President, and Rumble in the Bronx before anyone else.
