I would say definetely yes, much too scary, especially the end. I would not show this movie to anybody under 8 years.

Germany got the same release date, so I think "Special treat" is just a marketing spin on things. My Video store has ten rental copies so I am going to rent it first and see if the extra's are also in English and if it is the British Version or US Version before I buy, but at 20 euros for two disc set its hard to complain.
