So I'm gathering from this picture, that Warner has scraped the digipack for the third Harry Potter film in favor of a dual keep case?

Because if so that's really lame. Way to keep continuity Warner!

I was wondering the same thing, and yes, that is indeed quite lame, and a good way to make me wait buying this release...

No matter what you say, packaging is still part of the product you buy, so I expect a good packaging, and in the case of a series, a consistent packaging. It's not like I wont see HP3 because of the case, but maybe I wont buy it, that's all there is to it...

A friend of mine will be selling off the previous releases and buying the box set because of the packaging inconsistencies! I'm sure the studios love guys like him. :)

I can't say I'm 100% happy about the change myself, but it certainly won't affect my buying decision.

Nice packaging is a nice thing, but at the end of the day it's the freakin' movie that counts! One of the better films of 2004 too.

Geez, I wasn't too crazy about the cover art to AB's Highlander, but I still bought it. Choose your battles, man.

This is why God made custom cover art, scanners, and blank cases. All of my digipacks, snappers, etc have been replaced with blank keep cases (www.inetdvd.com) and coverart printed on a standard inkjet printer. Google is your friend...

What Derek said. :D

I replaced the digipacks from the first two HP movies long ago. So this is just fine.

If I don't like packaging...I'll still buy the movie. I'll just make my own package to hold it. :)

OK I was kidding, I'm still buying, but I also still think it's a stupid decision, because I actually liked the digipack for HP 1 and 2...

I dont know why you woulnd't buy it cause of packaging. I just thought it is silly of Warner to change it like this.

Imagine if New Line decided to release the last Rings EE in a 4 disc armary case.

Actually, I have already converted the LotR EE discs to 4-disc cases using custom art....:D However, I love the cases they come in (I archive them, but do not store the discs in them - terrible hubs IMO)

I say this and everytime I do people go "OH NO!"

I immediately shell the movie from the case and put it in a set of 500 disc binders, which are nicely labeled "Kids movies" "Sci-Fi" "TV-Series" "Drama" "Comedy"

Then just box up the cases and keep them in keeps in the shed.

Then again, I continuously lobby that time will come when cases go the way of CD Longboxes and we just get the disc in a standard CD case.

Loved the movie, will buy the film :)

A bizarre choice by WB on this one. Is it really that hard to be consistent? Obviously i'll still buy it. I thought this one was far and away the best Harry Potter film yet (non reader opinion).
