Me too. It's been on all my Warner wants lists, I can still remember going to see it (it was called The Moving Target in the UK). All those great one liners, & Shelley Winters playing someone fat & past it, but the same year (1966) she was as sexy as sin in Alfie.

It's Paul Newman - I'm in :). Not quite in "The Hustler" or "Hud" or "Cool Hand Luke" territory nut another great movie! Also will be getting "The Drowning Pool".

I finally got around to watching my Blu-ray of this tonight. What astonishing visual quality! Paul Newman's eyes have never looked so blue, and it was sharp as a tack, clear as could be, and just as intriguing as ever. What a snake pit of evil Lew Archer has fallen into with this bunch!

Yep. Pretty good film, very good disc.

I ordered this (and a lot of others) this 4 for $44 sale. with your description I may need to move it up on the watch list.
