can you set up "play a game" as an activity?

Yep
I don't have the remote kit for my PS/2, but I'm sure this would work for that, but on the setup page there is a play videogame activity and it just turns the tv on to the right input and the receiver on to the right input.
You can set up any time of activity you want. For example, for HDTV I have one set up to watch through the TV for volume and one for surround sound.

You'll love the remote, I have yet to find one thing that I don't like about it (and, probably more importantly, neither has my wife)
