Harman Kardon DPR-1001 or AVR-630. (1 Viewer)

Whats the major difference with these? The Digital Path Receiver is only 50X7 and the 630 is 75X7. Is there just a major sound quality difference? Would the DPR-1001 make a better pre/pro in the future? Im thinking of upgrading my rxv-440 in april.

the advantage (some would debate if its an advantage) of the dpr is that it maintains a digital signal until it hits the amp...if you use it as a pre pro, that advantage will disappear...

personally, i would go with the 630
