Harman Kardon avr220 vs. Onkyo 595

    Which is the better reciever out of those two for hometheater? I've heard that the onkyo won't allow you to switch speaker distances. I've also heard that harman kardon has had some reliability issues in the past.

    494 won't let you adjust distances, while the 595 should.

    At $360 from an authorized online dealer, the 595 is probably the cheaper of the two. I'm very happy with mine.

    I hear HK owners saying that they get extreme sound quality. But the x10 series apparently still had some bugs. Who knows if they're fixed in the x20 series?

    No problems to report on any of the x20 models I've sold so far!
