Which one of these two A/V receivers will be better for the Klipsch Reference Series 7 speakers? My main priority is home theater, but I would also like good music performance.

You can check out the reviews on audioreview.com.

The H/K has Logic 7 for 5.1 sources, so in my opinion, the 8000 wins.

There's also a the H/K 7200 coming out in Jan/Feb.

I've always liked Denon, but I gotta admit, L7 is pretty hard to resist. The full DPL2 is close though since it is more tweakable. Other than that, I think they are pretty close. Both have a warm rich sound, and similar features. In the end, for me, it would probably come down to price.

DPL II is only for stereo sources. The 8000 can do Logic 7 on stereo and 5.1 DD/DTS sources. I can't imagine there's much if any difference in sound quality between the 2 though. :)
