I have just read the new Sound & Vision mag. It has some info on the 2004 CES where the Harman Kardon AVR 7300 had a breif article on it:

No release date in the magazine. Could be interesting if the price comes down.

My Integra DTR 6.4 also does flexible digital bass management for multichannel analogue inputs. However, I've been unable to determine (no literature or person I've been able to find) if my receiver converts DSD to PCM in order to apply the bass management (I strongly suspect that it does). Every processor/player that I've seen (except dedicated SACD players) that claims to apply FLEXIBLE bass management to multichannel inputs appears to convert DSD to PCM. Any idea if this is the case with the H/K 7300?

Since the multichannel inputs ARE analogue....the DSD stream is changed to analogue at the player. There is no DSD to PCM conversion.

The receiver then takes that analogue information, then converts it back to digital to perform bass management. I assume this is done in PCM for each channel.

All receivers and pre/pros that have "flexible" bass management do it in the same manner.

There are some that have limited bass management, such as the Outlaw 950 with a switch on the back of the unit, and bass management is performed in the analog domain.
