Ok, I just want to make sure I made an OK decision...

I just bought a refurbished H/K AVR 230 for $285 from Ebay (HK direct, so warranty is still good). This will be used to drive my Klipsch Synergy series (SF-3's, SC-3, SS-3's, and KSW-12).

Will this receiver be good enough/sound alright???

The HKs are well known for underrating their power but since the HK230 is almost at the bottom of the heap, it is hard to tell. However, it looks like you have speakers that can be easily driven so the HK should be a good fit no matter what.

I have an HK 130. It is a fine unit for the money. Your 230 will drive your Klipsch with no problems. Should be a nice set up. This is the first HK I have owned I am very impressed with the logic 7 feature on older movies and the overall power of the HK's.
