    Hello again Dave,

They will pair well together but because the power of H/K's is consistent across the channels, it is unusual to get the big jump in Stereo that is seen in other receivers. Instead you get uniform, reliable power delivery whether in 2 channel or multi-channel. The actual power will be well above the H/K rating. This has been my experience and has been born out in testing many times.

Having said that, with the Diamonds you will run the 225 volume setting slightly higher than with a more powerful receiver. 6 Ohms will give you more watts but 86dB will mean a few more clicks on the volume. But because the amping is very reliable and excellent quality, the extra clicks of volume will not strain the receiver or distort the sound unless you like to listen at deafening levels or have an extremely large listening space.

    You should be fine.
