Anyone heard anything on the new Harman Kardan DPR 1001?

I just ordered some Aperion Audio speakers (50-150w). Do you think I can use the DPR 1001 (50 watts per)with these speakers?

I would think that it would be enough.

This is their first (fully digital) receiver and complete digital amp section. No reason to think that is would not be of "typical H/K power", thus not flubbed power specs, would think it would meet or exceed rated power...?

H/K plans to release a DPR-2002 at 100-watts a channel (7.1 also) soon, read it in a press release somewhere. Nice looking unit but has a very deep case measurement. Light weight though, DPR-1001 at 17lbs I belive.

Just hitting the shelves now, so user info should soon start to show itself soon...

HT-Spot has a deal going on DPR-1010 I belive right know, you may want to check it out.

Edit: You might take a look, if not already, at the listening session some did with the DPR-1001, Onkyo-?, and H/K-? can't remember. They favored the 1001 least of the 3.....
