I saw this when it came out on DVD and felt it was essentially "shock" for shock's sake, and just not nearly as gutsy as it thought it was. I understood the motivation, but it took some time because that reveal part of the movie came across as incredibly muddled to me. I actually watched that part several times trying to figure out exactly what the hell she was talking about. I actually thought it was one of the less impressive Indie attempts I've seen lately.
