Just a quick thread to wish everyone a happy Paddy's Day.
Any Irish folk around this board?
I was born here (London) but consider myself Irish because I'm there every year and every one of my relatives are Irish [IMG]
    Well, enjoy the day everyone.

Nope no Irish here, but I drank in there honour. I woke up about 10am this morning and went down to the pub around 11:30am with a bunch of friends and got a lot of Guiness into me.
By about 2pm the bar wouldn't serve us anymore so we got up, went to the bottle shop picked up more Guiness and we enjoyed the next couple of hours at my apartment. Seen it all in reverse by about 3pm and slept the rest of the day. I just got up a couple of hours ago and had a couple of Berocca's [IMG].
I love St Patrick's Day!! Have fun all you guys on the other side of the world [IMG]

Having bailed my brother out of the clink at 1 a.m. last night, I knew this St. Paddy's Day was off to a righteous start. Pretty much been doing nothing all day today (and liking it). Either way...Happy St. Patricks to all the hooligans out there.

I went to Montreal's yearly St-Patrick's Day parade today. It almost took four hours for the parade to go through! This sucker is getting longer every year...

Well, I'm half-Hispanic and half-everything else, including Irish! Anyway, I did my part by drinking lots of Guinness. Mmmmm-good!

I'm first generation Irish/Canadian. My Father and Mother moved to Canada from Ireland when they were in their early 30's and had 5 children. Besides my brother and 3 sisters my ENTIRE family is in Ireland.
P.S. We of course,... celebrated. [IMG]

I went to visit my folks yesterday in Bayonne, NJ and we all went to the parade. Then it was back to their house for lunch/dinner and many, many pints of Guinness. My head still hurts (Monday 10:30 am) but we had a great time.

    Slainte!

I'm part Irish. I would have gotten smashed, but I didn't have the money. Last year I got drunk for St Patrick's Day. 15 shots of Jack Daniels and 5 Buds. That was one fun night. 2 hot women drove me and my cousin home. We walked to the bar, because it's only down the street.

Hey all, Happy St. Patty's Day!
I would have posted this on time, but I'm still recovering from the "festivities". [IMG]
Gotta find something good to clean those permanent stains from the lime green jello shots...ah the fun of being Irish.

    Ryan_M_M,
That's the truest word so far. [IMG]
I don't drink or go out anyway (not your stereotypical irishman), so St. Paddy's Day is just another day for me. We usually have a good-oul-laff around the house though. [IMG]

    Hey, I'm Irish too!
Spent Paddy's night with some friends and got a bit drunk. Actually, I didn't but the friends I was with really went to town.
Someone had to make sure they got home! [IMG]
I'm surprised the Irish haven't taken over this board yet - they seem to be everywhere else [IMG]
    Which reminds me...
    Why did God invent alcohol?
To stop the Irish from taking over the world!
