I was hoping for the Widescreen issue of this film on DVD. Come to find all that is available are Full Frame DVD's? Please get around to fixing this title Paramount!

The P&S (aka full frame) DVD's of Happy Gilmore were put out by Universal. Universal owns the rights to Happy Gilmore.

    Universal,
please re-release Happy Gimore on DVD in its OAR. I will not purchase Happy Gilmore on DVD until it is avaliable on DVD in its OAR.

Happy Gilmore is avaliable on DVD in Widescreen in region 2.

Ditto....the only Adam Sandler movie I have not bought.

    Why?

    NO OAR...No Sale!

And a great DTS track too. The DTS LD had a surprisingly good soundtrack.

This is probably the only Adam Sandler movie I WOULD buy, but not until it's OAR.

Sadly this is the only non-OAR disc I own and it gives me nightmares. Please release it in widescreen. I was naive when I bought it and I would happily rebuy the widescreen version and drop the pan and scan.
