Can't see the trailer, but I think this could be done almost infinite times if it is a whole different cast with same concept.

Speaking of the trailer, I hadn’t seen the first one yet, but the trailer for this played in front of Halloween and it completly spoiled the first one. Whose boneheaded idea was that?

I watched the first one last Tuesday, and was very pleasantly surprised, so I took advantage of a 75¢ promo code yesterday to rent this sequel on Blu-Ray from a Redbox.

Not even sure how to define the genre of this one. Lots of funny bits, lots of sci-fi bits, a few lingering slasher bits. At first it seems like Carter's roommate from the first movie is going to be the star of this one, but then the focus shifts back to Tree about a quarter of the way through.

I'm not sure it was really necessary, since they resolved Tree's inner conflict in the first one and then dredged it back up again for this one. But it definitely kept my interest; I didn't regret the 81 cents.

I actually preferred this one to the original. It essentially coasted on its "slasher 'Groundhog Day'" concept, so the sequel needed to work harder to be creative.

Not a classic, but a fun little flick!
