FINALLY! I just got off the phone with the Paramount Home Video office at 1-323-956-5000, and they confirmed that HAPPY DAYS season 4 is on the schedule to be released December 9, 2008.

I'm SO HAPPY. This was one of my FAVORITE shows when growing up, and I am really enjoying sharing these with my daughters.

Though I'd heard this rumored before, it's good news to hear it again from someone who's actually spoken to the studio. I'd begun to think that because of music clearance issues that we might not see any future seasons. Especially when Laverne & Shirley were released this spring without a Happy Days release on the same day as had been done previously. This is good news indeed!
