I had once read that Spike Jonze would have a small part in this movie. I don't remember seeing him in the film. Was that rumor false or I'm just blind?

Just a rumor. He wasn't in the film, but I think that he was supposed to play the small role of Donnie Barber, the gun-selling redneck.
