I would love to see Warner Home Video release an OAR version of HORROR OF DRACULA and the other Hammer horrors they have the rights to. If anyone else feels the same way, jump on the thread! :)

I'm with you for the entire ride on this one! Count me in for releases of the ENTIRE Hammer Films catalog. Some other specific requests would be:
Dracula Has Risen From The Grave
Taste The Blood Of Dracula
Dracula AD 1972
Larry, perhaps we should ask if this could be considered the OFFICIAL Hammer Films thread? It may add more visibility in the long run - just a thought. Regards! :)

Please release HORROR OF DRACULA, CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN and THE MUMMY in 16:9 enhanced wide screen along with Christopher Lee audio commentaries.
I believe that these are the rest of the Hammer titles in the Warner library:
HYSTERIA
SHE
DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE
FRANKENSTEIN MUST BE DESTROYED
MOON ZERO TWO
TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA
WHEN DINOSAURS RULED THE EARTH
DRACULA A.D.-1972

As I mentioned in another thread, the Warners spokesperson who attended the last HTF chat, about 2 or more years ago, said that we could expect HORROR OF DRACULA, THE MUMMY, CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN on DVD within a year. This is definitely an issue to be brought up in the next chat in October.

R.I.P. James Bernard, composer of HORROR OF DRACULA and many other Hammer films. He died last Thursday at age 75.

Count me in too, as a long time Hammer Film fan I would love to see all the classic titles released on DVD.
Curse of Frankenstein
Horror of Dracula.
The Mummy.
Hound of the Baskervilles.
Dracula Has Risen From The Grave.
Taste the Blood of Dracula.
Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed.
And many others, in their OAR and with any extras that can be found.
Sad to hear of James Bernard's death, his music was as much a part of classic Hammer as Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing, RIP.

Count me in. C'mon already Warner put out the Big 3 - HORROR OF DRACULA, CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN & The MUMMY in their OAR.
BTW- I was the one who asked for these titles in last years chat with Warner. Their response was a 4th quarter 2001 possibility. I WILL be asking them again if I get a chance at the next chat.
We need to put the heat on Warner if we want these titles on DVD.

I'd buy 'em all. Even the bad ones. I grew up with the Hammer films (mostly on TV and then on 16mm) and would love to experience them all over again. Anchor Bay's treatment of them has been excellent. Let's hope Warner treats them with equal respect. I really wish Peter Cushing were still around to do an audio commentary - he was my reason for seeing most of them in the first place.

Count me in, too! I love Hammer films! I particularly want to see these titles on DVD (amongst others):

WHEN DINOSAURS RULED THE EARTH (uncut!) - Warner
DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE - Warner
TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA (uncut!) - Warner
FRANKENSTEIN MUST BE DESTROYED - Warner
THE NANNY - Warner
REVENGE OF FRANKENSTEIN - Columbia (Sony LD is rotting)

CASH ON DEMAND - Columbia
THE QUATERMASS X-PERIMENT - MGM (I'm sure this will show up on DVD sometime in 2002)
TWINS OF EVIL - MGM, or Anchor Bay?
HANDS OF THE RIPPER - MGM, or Anchor Bay?
VAMPIRE CIRCUS - MGM, or Anchor Bay?
ONE MILLION YEARS B.C. (uncut!) - Fox (is this still in the works?)
CAPTAIN KRONOS: VAMPIRE HUNTER - Paramount
THE MAN WHO COULD CHEAT DEATH - Paramount
FRANKENSTEIN & THE MONSTER FROM HELL - Paramount
BRIDES OF DRACULA - Universal
CURSE OF THE WEREWOLF - Universal

Would love to see Fox do a Hammer/Bette Davis double feature of THE ANNIVERSARY and THE NANNY.
Although they claim they no longer have the rights, Columbia should check with their legal department for REVENGE OF FRANKENSTEIN and THE GORGON. An industry insider swears to me that they still have the rights to their Hammer films. Would love to have a definitive answer on these titles.
Universal needs to do 16:9 enhanced versions of:
CURSE OF THE WEREWOLF
BRIDES OF DRACULA
THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA
CAPTAIN CLEGG [A.K.A.: NIGHT CREATURES]
PARANOIAC
KISS OF THE VAMPIRE
EVIL OF FRANKENSTEIN
NIGHTMARE
MGM needs to release the following ASAP!
HANDS OF THE RIPPER
THE CREEPING UNKNOWN [A.K.A. THE QUATERMASS EXPERIMENT]
THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES
TEN SECONDS TO HELL
THE VAMPIRE LOVERS
COUNTESS DRACULA
TWINS OF EVIL
VAMPIRE CIRCUS

I'm not a fan of horror films, but I make an exception for the Hammer Horrors. Especially the Cushing/Lee ones.

I'd also like to see some enhanced reissues of previous non-anamorphic releases (pretty please, Anchor Bay :) ) - i.e. Satanic Rites of Dracula & Dracula: Prince of Darkness.

Any and all Hammer films please, but my top requests are for:
Horror of Dracula (under it's original title Dracula would be nice)
Quatermass Experiment/Creeping Unknown
Brides of Dracula
I'm very excited about the three Anchor Bay Hammer titles coming in August!
