it's rained here for 2 days straight

I think around here it might be something like 2 weeks or even 2 months straight. OK, I exaggerate, but 2 weeks is probably right, i.e. it rains every day, but not continuously. if anything, the weird thing is that it's often blazing hot in the mornings, yet by early afternoon there's a downpour.

hey, it's monsoon season. what's one to do in the tropics?
