What is the differene between the two that justifies another $500??
Primarly the lens. In the past, Toshiba differentiated between 5 and 6 element lenses when it was their "TW" series (equivalent to Cinema Series) vs. their 4:3 sets. This year, they have 2 different lines of widescreens with a Cinema Series and non-Cinema Series, which signifies that they made major statement to the consumer that their widescreen sets are the main feature of the Toshiba RPTVs.
The Cinema series also seems to have a better cabinet, too. However, most dealers seem to only be charging $200 more of the CS, which means there probably isn't a whole lot of improvement. I'm not as familiar with this years Tosh so you might also want to check out the Toshiba website.
