So the HK models AVR 440 and higher have this RS-232 port which allows you to hook the receiver up to a computer and download softward upgrades and link it to a network.....

Is there any way to get the AVR 330 (with no RS-232) hooked up to a computer network?

    Thank you,
    Stephen

I don't think you can "link it to a network". AFAIK, only the Onkyo NetTune receivers can do this. I believe the RS232 is for upgrades and remote control, it is not exactly "network" enabled.

Since the 330 does not have this, there is no way to do it, however, you CAN easily hook a PC to it via an analog or digital output from a capable audio card to get sound.
