Which Harman Kardon receiver is a better buy? The 310 has 5 more watts per channel but the 220 is a newer model. Does the 220 have any extra features that the 310 doesnt and vice versa.

The biggest NEW feature in the AVR 220 is Dolby Prologic II. To see if you are interested in this feature, search this site or visit Dolby's website for a complete explanation.

Don't buy the one just because of the 5 watts. You won't notice them. Base your decision on other features.

Looking at the 2, the 310 is the way to go. I have the 110 and when I'm ready to upgrade I'll probably get that one, as I'd like to eventually get a 5 channel amp and use it as the pre/pro. Logic 7 is great. The wattage is plenty, believe me. Great rec's.

    Good Luck
