Great movie by the way (#6 on my all-time list). Just saw it on VHS.

Is there anything wrong with the Columbia Classics DVD release of this film? Anything I should be aware of before buying it? I'm a bit concerned because it is so cheap (only $10).

    thanks

The dvd is anamorphic and I can't remember anything being wrong with the presentation. It was released back in early 1999 which is probably why it's so cheap without any extras on the dvd.

I picked up this DVD when it was originally released and it wasn't so cheap back then (in 1999). I haven't watched this recently, but like Crawdaddy I don't remember any problems with this DVD. It has a pretty good widescreen anamorphic transfer.

One of the first DVDs I ever bought. I recommend it.

You got that right! The MSRP back in 1999 was $29.95
