The GT3 force feedback steering wheel works best mounted to a sturdy table. I finally bought a nice coffee table to mount it on and the game feels even better now. It feels very close to how a real automobile handles.
If you mount the wheel on a flimsy non sturdy table, you won't get the full "feel" of the force feedback since the force is absorbed by the loose table. On a study table, you get the best force feedback 'feel'.
I won't play GT3 with the paddles ever again. The steering wheel is essential to getting the full impact of the game.
