Night of the Living Dead is public domain. I also don't think Anchor Bay is planning a release after Elite's huge special edition last year, which I think was restored.

Quite interesting, although I couldn't find a relevant announcement at Anchor Bay's site. Seemingly the exact release day remains a mystery, but to my knowledge the rumored delay until August was never confirmed by the company. Could this mean that it's coming out in April after all?

Anchor Bay will probably update their coming attractions page tomorrow, which is when they usually start doing it (and finish it by Monday). They had changed Day of the Dead's date to April 2003 on 2/22, and on 2/26 Gorezone and DVD Maniacs both reported it was delayed until August, which is very odd (why announce a release date, and then change it two days later, and then not update the page in the following weeks?)
