I have to admit...I titled the thread that way partly to get people to say "what the hell?"

All of the big action movies that everyone wants DTS sountracks for get slapped with the marketing moniker "Superbit" by Sony.

I am just wondering why not have a "Superbit" of "Groundhog Day"?

I mean, one of the ways Sony markets the Superbits is to say that they have better picture quality because they aren't overrun with extras.

Personally, I think that "Groundhog Day" is a classic. They've already released two versions of the movie. I really think they could clean the print up and throw it in a two-disc set -- with the current extras and perhaps a bit more.

There have to be some deleted scenes out there, too.

How about HD w/DTS+?!?!?!
Love this movie!

There is, there in the film. ;-)
For this flick they could just use the "deleted" scenes as scenes from another 'day'.
