If you like dance music in any way you owe it to yourself to at least give this album a listen...its fantastic, one of the best i've heard in a long long time.
Next paycheck, I would like to get this one. I already own Vertigo and Goodbye Country (Hello Nightclub).
Yea, their music is definitely danceable, but--thank God!--it's not that mindless/repetitive "techno" or "house" music junk. This is stuff you can also just sit and listen to. I like all the horns and pianos they use--gives a more organic(?) feel to the music.
I think one of my favorite songs from them (so far) is "Chicago" from Vertigo. Just a neat, airy, and uplifting instrumental tune, especially while driving (all 7min 22sec of it!).
And their live shows are supposed to be awesome.
* If you like these guys, you ought to give a listen to Thunderball; their Scorpio Rising album is great stuff: http://thunderballdc.com/ www.groovearmada.com
