Just finished watching the documentary Grey Gardens, A film by the maysles brothers. What a film!!!!!!...I highly recommend it to everyone. Criterion did a bang up job with the release. It is very much considered a cult film.....anyone else enjoy it as much as I did?.....

Yes I did, but I think if not the Maysles’ best film. Have you seen Salesman and [/i]Gimme Shelter[/i]? Both also on Criterion and both very fine indeed.

Personally, I think that Salesman is one of the finest documentaries ever made. And Gimme Shelter not far behind. Grey Gardens I find to be just a bit behind these films.

But highly recommended nonetheless.
