This is a title that illustrates to me an issue that I've been personally debating in the last year or so. Which titles I'm going to upgrade to from Blu-ray versus which titles I won't upgrade. With a third option, which titles I might purchase on 4K/HDR stream for the right price.

Never been entirely happy with the Gremlins blu-ray so will upgrade this if reviews ok.

Absolutely hate the cover art (seriously...puke-mustard yellow raindrops??), but will definitely be picking this one up. Any word on the sequel getting the 4K treatment too?

That's been my mantra since stepping into this format. Generally, I buy the new stuff on 4k. Something like this I will buy once it drops to around $15-$20 -- and GREMLINS is one of my favorites.

I don't know why, but for some reason I never saw this back in the day. In fact, I still haven't seen it. Should I...?

Picked it up today. Definite improvement over the 1080p disc. Wonder why they didn't include DV on the disc like The Shining. Unfortunately the included 1080p disc is not remastered.

That's weird as the iTunes 4K digital plays back in Dolby Vision.

Looking forward to getting this. I am really enjoying 4k (much more immersive) and will be upgrading all my 1080p's as they become available in UHD.
