Well, after a few months of trolling this site (THANKS TO ALL THE GREAT INFO HERE!!!!) and a few months of work my theater is finally done! I can honestly say it is a BLAST to go into my basement now. What used to be one of the worst rooms in the house has been converted into my "escape from reality" room. Hope you like the pics in the gallery area. let me know if anyone has questions....

Thanks

1 word: Elegant! :emoji_thumbsup:

What projector and screen are you using?
How are you liking those B&W 7's?

Thanks Brian and Andrew. The Display is a Sony XBR 70".
I have enjoyed the B&W's but it took some time for the sub to get "broken in". The cabinetry was custom built but not by me. It was already there. I lucked out that once I put a platform over the opening that the XBR fit just about perfectly between the shelving. I may go with some skirting to cover the lower cabinets, put speaker grille material over the center area where the center channel and receiver is, and then put vintage movie memorabilia on the shelves.

Gotta love it when cabinetry is already there and fits perfectly! It's like a sign from the Home Theatre Gods :D Have fun with the rest of the build and looking forward to seeing more pictures.

Cheers,
Andrew

No wonder I couldn't make out a projector in your pics.:b
I thought I was blind. I just auditioned the 70" yesterday, it is incredible!
The 7's are awesome as well.

You really have one heck of a setup!:emoji_thumbsup:
