Green vertical line on tv screen ?? (1 Viewer)

I have a Philips 32PF7320A/37B 32-inch Flat Panel LCD HDTV and just bought a Panasonic Blu-ray player DMP-BDT320 and connected via HDMI. When I access the dvd player there is a green vertical line on the right side of the screen. ??

Does the BD player do it on another TV? Did you previously have anything connected to that input?

I just a while ago found the solution online, should have been in the TV manual. the round cursor on the TV remote, press the right arrow three times and it centers the screen, green line gone. thanks for the help anyway.
