Great software, but could you disable the 30-second rule?

This may be neccessary for open public forums, but i really dont think a forum as private and moderated as HTF needs this rule. Sometimes when you're multi-tasking in different areas, it gets to be a kinda annoying.

Just a thought.. maybe its just me... :p

If you are talking about the 30 second flood check that option is going to stay on. It was enabled on the UBB site and will on this site too. Sorry about that.

Go to the testing area and try posting twice in a row, fast. I thought it was a way to avoid double posting, but I guess it's not perfect.

Oh I see. Well I'd have to go with 'don't type so quickly' - I can't see how this can be affected by multi-tasking? Surely if your doing other stuff it would make your between post times longer. Nick, can you explain why it's causing you grief? I'm really confused...

    Bjorn:

It is a way to prevent double posting but it also there so someone cannot post a series of several messages in a row tying up all the system resources, etc.
