Now THAT is inspired! That one and the Frankenstein/Robocop one are the kind of suggestions I'm looking for!!

And I thought of a new one myself, after watching Towering Inferno last night. The other half of the double should not be Earthquake. It should be Die Hard.

I suggested Towering Inferno + ID4 because of the "disater movie" theme, but Die Hard would work very well!
here's some more:
Bean: The Ultimate Disaster Movie and Rush Hour
Rising Sun and Rush Hour II
Bridge on the River Kwai and Star Trek VI
Work well, and you will be treated well! Work badly; you will die. :D
Jaws and Jurassic Park
Romancing the Stone and The Great Muppet Caper
The Usual Suspects and Mission: Impossible (or Memento, I can't decide.)

Some friends and I once tried to come up with some of the most inappropriate double features. My contribution? THE TEN COMMANDMENTS and DIRTY HARRY!
I even came up with a tag line for it: "Moses makes 'em, and Harry breaks 'em!" :D

How about "Brainstorm" and "Strange Days"? Both deal with a form of technology that records peoples' experiences directly from the brain.
