Reminds me of what I was feeling last year when I went to see X2 in the theaters. A group of seven or eight rowdy teenagers were making smart-assed comments all the way through the film. I felt just like the cartoon. Thankfully, I now have the X2 DVD and can enjoy it in the comfort of my home without having to worry about anything except for running out of popcorn or going to the bathroom.
Bill, Same here, except replace X2 with RotK. Through the whole movie, I kept thinking "man, this is going to be great when I get it at home."
Yep! Ironically, the fun thing about having the film(s) on DVD at home is, you can make all the comments you want during the film, and nobody else is around to give a rip. Kinda like MST3K.
Not true. I'm a SILENT movie watcher at home, but my girlfriend feels so moved to comment all the time. It's like TORTURE. I just read books when she's home.
Is it not? My word, when my sister comes over to "watch a movie", she flaps through the whole thing. "Hey, doesn't she look like your ex-girlfriend/", "He's kinda cute huh?" flap, flap, flap. When it is just my brothers and I, pure silence. The way it ought to be.
