Great news. This was the first film I saw in "Dolby" sound...a pretty big deal back when I was in the 8th grade........gonna get out my walker now, and watch Grease again
I hope the dvd clears up the weird reverb that was on the widescreen anniversary vhs in 1998. I didn't remember the original mix being like that, but...it has been awhile.

Fantastic !
Grease is one of only 3 musicals I like (Moulin Rouge and Rocky Horror being the others).
I'm sure Paramount will do a bang-up job on the transfer also.
