If it's #1 before you die, at least they could have a nice big grave site and help people out!

I can't argue with the Grand Canyon being first on the list. It is a truly awe inspiring experience.

However, as a theme park enthusiast (my family uses a different word) I have to say, Disneyworld as third? Disneyworld isn't even the best resort in Orlando (that would the Universal Resort), and is at best fourth or fifth in the USA.

And if one was to pick a set of falls to see, Victoria Falls in Zambia/Zimbabwe and Iguaçu Falls in Brazil/Argentina both blow Niagra out of the water.

Taking a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon is the BEST way to see it all. That experience will be with me for the rest of my life. :emoji_thumbsup:

Well, #7 and #1 on that list can be done together, killing two birds with one stone. :)
I've never been to Grand Canyon (even though it's only a 5-6 hr drive away, just never gotten around to it...), but a friend of mine from Sweden was there last month, and he said it was amazing. However, he was actually even more fascinated and impressed by Utah's Bryce Canyon. I had never heard of that place before, but it looks really cool. I'm guessing most Brits never heard of it either. :)

I've been to 13 out of 50, including all of the ones in the USA except Alaska.:) One of these years, I'll get to Oz and NZ. I'm surprised that there are a few on the list that I've never even heard of.
What's so special about Barbados as opposed to other Caribbean islands?

To me, nature's creations are far more interesting than man-made sights... especially Disney World. Sure, the Sears Tower in Chicago is one hell of a building, but I found Meteor Crater to be much more interesting!

BTW, for those of us who don't have the time or the money (or both!) to travel to Australia's Great Barrier Reef keep in mind that Belize has a beautiful reef system of its own. Its no where near the size of the Great Barrier Reef but it is impressive none the less. I have made several trips to Belize and absolutely love it there. The people, weather and diving are great.
